Grief & Loss Journals

Grief & Loss

Four griefs. Four journals. No timeline.

Grief is not one thing, and it does not arrive on a schedule. These journals were written for four different losses, and not one of them will tell you where you should be by now.

The journal that started this line

Love Endures

Broken, but blooming.

Kristy painted the cover herself — a cracked heart with a tree growing out of the break. She worked on it for two years and finished it during her father’s hospice care. The journal came after.

Inside are 143 pages of gentle prompts with ruled space to answer, written for the particular ache of losing a parent: the phone you still reach for, the advice you can’t ask for, the version of yourself only they remembered.

No stage model, no five steps, no rushing. One honest question at a time, and room to say the thing out loud.

The Losses No One Sees

Grief no one sees

What’s the same in all four

Different losses, one promise: every page asks you something real, and then gets out of the way.

Every prompt is different

No recycled questions

Most grief journals rotate the same four prompts for a hundred pages. These don’t. Every page asks something new, so the book keeps up with you as the grief changes shape.

A full page of lines

Write as much or as little as you need

Some days you’ll write one sentence. Some days you’ll fill the page and want more. Both are allowed, and there is room for either.

No timeline, no stages

Open it on day four or year four

Nothing here is dated or numbered. Start in the middle. Skip the pages that aren’t yours yet. Come back to them in a year if you want to.

A note about the fourth one

Some griefs don’t get a casserole. Estrangement, a friendship that ended, the job that was your identity, the diagnosis that changed the plan, the future you were promised and didn’t get — people expect you to be over those before you have even finished naming them.

The Losses No One Sees is for exactly that: 105 prompts, one per page, for the grief you have been carrying quietly because nobody offered to help you put it down.

Every page, a new path.

All four are available on Amazon in paperback, and most in hardcover.
